CHECK IN
Check in time is any time after 4pm. In certain circumstances especially during high seasons our housekeeping services may not be able to get the homes ready by exactly 4pm, so we ask for your patience if this does happen. During low season we can sometimes arrange check-ins earlier than 4pm but this must be arranged days in advance. Check in is direct to Sapphire Heaven. You will be issued a lockbox code, gate access instructions, and directions to the property prior to your arrival. It is your responsibility to make sure that you bring the provided access information. Keys must be left in the lockbox each time you leave the property.

CHECK-OUT
Check out time for Sapphire Heaven is 10am and is strictly enforced. During the low and mid seasons we are occasionally able to arrange a later check out, for which there is a $50.00 fee.

RESERVING
When making a reservation you will be required to pay 20% of the reservation total. At that time you will also complete a registration form which should be returned with a copy of the check signer’s driver’s license. The rental balance is due 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Once you have paid the balance, directions and a lockbox code will be provided.

CANCELLATIONS
and REFUNDS
Cancellations received 30 days, or more, prior to arrival are subject to a $100.00 admin fee. The balance of the initial 20% deposit will be returned. If you must cancel your reservation less than 30 days before arrival, you may re-schedule in any comparable time period that is available in the following 12 months, without penalty.

OCCUPANCY
The maximum occupancy for Sapphire Heaven is four and it is strictly enforced. There is no camping of any description allowed on the property. If there are more than four people staying overnight on the property, all be asked to leave.

PARKING
The parking lot beside the cabin will easily allow four cars ample space. There is parking on the extended driveway below the cabin that has plenty of room for a motor home and other vehicles.

SMOKING
Smoking is STRICTLY prohibited in the cabin. Ashtrays are provided for smoking on the covered porches and in the patio area.

PETS
Pets love the wide open spaces of Sapphire Heaven enough that they will probably pay the non-refundable $100 pet fee themselves.

AGE
We do not accept reservations from anyone under the age of 21. A $500.00 security deposit is required for reservations made by any singles group.

MOUNTAIN CAUTIONS
Please be aware that, just as in any high elevation mountain setting, the topography features steep inclines, cliffs, and other natural obstacles that can be hazardous to people of all ages. Parents of young children should be especially mindful that they oversee all of their outdoor activities.

Winter weather will rarely impede access to and from Sapphire Heaven. However, if such conditions do occur, it is usually only for a short period of time. If you are traveling in the mountains during the winter months be sure to monitor weather and road conditions. When unsure, plan your driving for the warmer times of the day.

Sapphire Heaven is a five acre gated estate located in a 200 acre protected, private, conservation area. Hiking, fishing, and mountain biking are permitted in the Preserve, but motor vehicles are strictly prohibited from the trails. All of the roads that are open to motor vehicles throughout the Preserve are paved. Preserve management personnel are present on the common property to care for the sensitive environment. Equivalent care for the surroundings must also be practiced by all guests; after all, its Mother Nature’s finest!
